Donald Trump has dismissed those pushing for the complete release of files related to the Jeffrey Epstein case as “troublemakers”. Despite this, the President has instructed Attorney General Pam Bondi to release “pertinent” files concerning the criminal investigation into Epstein, pending Court approval.
Bondi recently filed a motion in New York seeking the release of grand jury transcripts associated with the Epstein case.
Trump addressed the situation on Truth Social, stating that he has requested the Justice Department to release all Grand Jury testimony regarding Jeffrey Epstein, subject only to Court Approval.
He added, “With that being said, and even if the Court gave its full and unwavering approval, nothing will be good enough for the troublemakers and radical left lunatics making the request. It will always be more, more, more. MAGA!”
Donald Trump has launched a $10 billion defamation lawsuit in a Florida federal court against Rupert Murdoch, News Corp, Dow Jones, and two Wall Street Journal journalists.
The lawsuit centres around an article in the Wall Street Journal that published a fabricated 50th birthday letter, allegedly from Trump to Jeffrey Epstein, complete with a sexually suggestive drawing.
Trump denies writing or signing any such letter or creating the drawing. He claims the story was “concocted” to “malign” him and insists that no authentic document exists.
A former girlfriend of Jeffrey Epstein has claimed that the disgraced financier and Donald Trump were once “best friends”. This comes as the President attempts to distance himself from the Epstein case.
Stacey Williams, who dated Epstein in the 1990s, told a news outlet that they were “best friends” who were “up to no good”. She had previously accused Trump of groping her in Trump Tower in 1993 in front of Epstein, allegations which Trump denies.
Williams recalled that Trump’s name came up frequently during her relationship with Epstein. “The only friend that he would mention every time we saw each other or had a phone conversation was Donald,” she stated. “They were very close and they were up to no good.”
A law professor has suggested that Pam Bondi “could have tried” Jeffrey Epstein during her tenure as Florida Attorney General between 2011 and 2019.
Bondi has faced scrutiny over the release of the Epstein files, which she previously stated were on her desk in February. The Department of Justice announced earlier this month that no further evidence in the case would be released and that Epstein did not maintain a “client list”.
JD Vance recently made a trip to Montana to meet with Rupert Murdoch and his son Lachlan, who heads Fox News and News Corp.
The meeting, which also included several Fox News executives, took place at the Murdoch family ranch near Dillon, Montana.
Donald Trump has defended his missile attack on Iran’s nuclear facilities. This follows a report suggesting the damage to Iran’s nuclear facilities was less severe than initially claimed.
Trump asserted that “all three nuclear sites in Iran were completely destroyed and/or OBLITERATED”. He added that it would take years to restore them, suggesting Iran would be better off starting anew in different locations.
Republican Senator Roger Marshall has accused Democrats and the “legacy media” of only showing interest in Jeffrey Epstein information to attack President Donald Trump.
He further speculated that “there may be a lot more going on than meets the eye”. Marshall suggested that Trump’s inability or refusal to release Epstein information might be related to national security.
“I think something else is going on that may be affecting national security,” he stated. “I think President Trump deserves a little bit of grace here. But hopefully, at the end of the day, everything will be released. I’m all for the transparency.”
In January 2024, a court unsealed nearly 1,000 pages of documents related to a lawsuit filed by Jeffrey Epstein victim Virginia Giuffre against Ghislaine Maxwell.
The documents contain the names of over 100 people, including Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, and former President Bill Clinton. It is important to note that being named in these documents does not imply any wrongdoing related to Epstein. The list includes accusers, alleged victims, and individuals with tangential connections to Epstein.
Donald Trump has strongly denied a report alleging that he drew a “bawdy” sketch in a birthday message to Jeffrey Epstein.
“I never wrote a picture in my life,” he stated, vehemently denying any involvement with the card. He declared on Truth Social, “I don’t draw pictures.”
Donald Trump socialised with Jeffrey Epstein decades ago, when he was a New York real estate mogul. Here’s a timeline of their relationship:
The White House reportedly engaged in a pressure campaign to prevent the release of a story about Donald Trump sending a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein.
White House officials and staffers were reportedly on “a f** warpath” to stop the publication of the letter, which allegedly contained a drawing of a naked woman. Staff contacted various individuals and proposed different angles to persuade the publication to drop the story.
Pranksters placed merchandise featuring images of Jeffrey Epstein with Donald Trump in the Trump Tower gift shop.
A political comedy duo claimed responsibility for the prank, posting photos of postcards with an old photograph of Trump and Epstein among the souvenirs.
Donald Trump has announced a lawsuit against the Wall Street Journal following a report claiming he sent Jeffrey Epstein a lewd birthday card in 2003.
The lawsuit seeks $10 billion in damages and names Rupert Murdoch as a defendant.
Democrats have demanded answers from Fox News regarding the editing of a 2024 interview with Donald Trump. They claim the edits misled the public about Trump’s stance on releasing documents related to Jeffrey Epstein.
The release of grand jury testimony in the Epstein case, requested by Attorney General Pam Bondi, still requires approval from a judge. The judge must adhere to strict rules regarding grand jury secrecy and protections for witnesses and victims. This process could take considerable time.
